She said she's leaving soon
Riding the rails up north
Heard it before it's a sad old tune
I wonder what she's looking for

I asked her how long she would be gone
She said she didn't know
I laughed it off like I didn't care

Maybe she'll call when she gets back
But she never does before she leaves
