DJ Banjo and The Automatic Sweethearts is a new project by Dan Easley fusing traditional old-time fiddle and banjo tunes with electronic dance music, with lead vocal styles inspired by Tom Waits and Captain Beefheart.
My neighbor, Ricky, has a bunch of tractors, and he recently spent about three days straight on one, plowing out his and his parents' driveways, plus the road in between. I live on the road in between, and he was kind enough to plow my driveway, as well. He's a tractor superhero. Here's a song I wrote about him.
